80gsm value matt drawing paper – a thin and affordable option that’s best used for building plans and line drawings with temporary use.

180gsm PHOTO GLOSS – a sturdier stock with a high-quality look and photo finish.

140gsm tearproof vinyl - a smooth matt finish with a tear proof back which if required is self adhesive.

220gsm PVC roller bananer material.  A sturdy tearproof material with tearproof and no see-through grey backing.

Waterproof PVC – at 220mic, this thin weatherproof option is ideal for outdoor A-frames.
Heavyweight waterproof PVC – outdoor signs or long-life posters are the best use for this 400mic PVC option.

We offer special laminate finishes on our poster stock. These add extra protection to your advertisement poster and give it a special look or feel. Choose from:

Matt – a smooth, no-shine finish that softens the colours
Gloss – a visible high-shine finish that brightens the colours

Yes we do print backlit posters. They are printed on light box film that can be displayed in a light box frame. Light box posters can be printed to any size dependant on the size of your frames. We can also supply lightbox frames. Ask us for a quote.

At our printshop in Luton we can print posters as small or as large as you need. Standard widths are 60cm, 90cm  and 1.2m and can be as long as 30m long.  Yes 30m.  We can also print wide posters.  Please contact us for a bespoke quote.

SHARE WITH SHOPPERS
High-traffic areas like shopping centres and high streets are great places to shout about your event or business because there are always going to be people around. And if the event is local to the shopping place, that’s even better!

If you’ve ever been in a waiting room at the GP surgery, hospital, dentist, opticians (the list goes on…), you’ll know that your eyes will wander around the room, reading everything you can to try and entertain yourself while you wait for what seems like the longest 15 minutes of your life. So, if your poster is up on a noticeboard or on the wall, it’s a given that people will see it and read every last word.

By making sure your poster is entertaining and brilliantly designed, you can easily make an impression. A study of GP surgery waiting rooms found that connections to the surrounding community created a comfortable, welcoming environment. So, appeal to that community vibe with your design. Like before, just remember to ask for permission before you hang flyers or posters.

PUBLIC NOTICEBOARDS
Whether it’s an outdoor board in your local village or town, or a community board in the library or supermarket, bulletin boards are a great way of spreading knowledge about local news and advertising events in the area. This is illegal and the person displaying their materials without permission can be prosecuted. Whatever you publicly post, make sure you’ve got the right permission to do so. Different city councils have different guidelines on this, so it’s a good idea to research the specific rules around putting up Posters in your local area. 

Today, QR codes are still going strong as an affordable way to give potential customers more information about your business. Whether for contactless restaurant menus or website links, QR codes are now easier than ever to use. With most smartphones, you just need to position the code within your camera and a URL will automatically generate.
